08.05.11 Forever is only 49일.

So today’s post is going to be pretty short, because I don’t have to much to update on. I start school in 4 days (O_o) and I’m halfway looking forward to it and halfway not. I get to see my boyfriend and best friends and I like all my teachers so that’s about the only thing I’m really looking forward to. Other than that the only things I want to talk about are two albums that have currently been about all I listen to and those are the Miss A ‘A Class’ album, in which my favorite songs are ‘Blanky’ and ‘Help Me’, and also the Kana Nishino ‘Thank You, Love’ album. I am such a HUGE fan of Kana Nishino’s. All of her songs are so amazing and they never fail to impress me. My favorite songs off the album are ‘If’ and ‘Alright’, but technically I really just love all of them. Anyways, onto the MQOD….

Day 15: A k-pop song that reminds you of someone you miss

This one was pretty hard to pick, but in the end after looking through my songs I picked one of my favorite songs off the ’49 Days’ OST. The entire OST is such a beautiful album and definitely not something to miss out on. I was going to pass on buying the cd, but in the end I decided to download the individual tracks for my mp3 player and buy the cd to listen to in the car because I love it that much. I’m also planning on buying a tear necklace because the drama just surpassed every drama I had ever seen and at the end of it, I had fallen head over heels for the whole drama and the ost and the actors/actresses, which has never happened to me before. Anyways, the song I’m talking about is..Forever by Park Bo Ram. I don’t think this reminds me of anyone specific that I miss but its just such a lovely song about loving someone and them leaving you and giving your whole heart away. I don’t think I’ve ever had this feeling because I’m still young and I’ve never been in love, but if you have then you could probably relate to this song in one way or another. Park Bo Ram’s voice is just so gorgeous!

07.28.11 I keep watching Japanese Dramas 오늘밤.

Soooo recently I’ve actually slowed down on watching Korean dramas and moved on more so to watching Japanese dramas and movies. Recently I watched Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai きみにしか聞こえない or Calling You. It was an absolutely AMAZING movie and I did in fact shed some tears during it. But I think it really led me back to my love of Japanese dramas and movies. Although I love Korean and it’s my favorite language. I sometimes think that the Japanese have more emotional filled dramas and such and I just think they are a lot more serious about their acting which is why you’ll see 15 year old actresses and actors that are already extremely developed in the acting field. This is just my personal opinion and you guys know that I love dramas and movies and such from all languages, I just somewhat prefer Japanese ones. If you haven’t seen Calling You, PLEASE go watch because it’s a gorgeous, heartfelt movie about young love and it’s just sooo amazing. I can describe in words how much I loved it. On top of that, I started watching the Ouran High School Host Club Live Action. It just came out on the 23 (I’m pretty sure) so only one episode is out so far, but I’m definitely not disappointed with how it started. I watched and read all of the Ouran High School Host Club anime and such and I LOVED IT. It’s about the only anime I ever really watched and fell in love with it. The characters and story line are just super cute and lovable and you guys know I have a weak spot for gender-bender dramas and such. So this falls right down my alley. But the girl who plays Haruhi-chan is super pretty (shocking because sometimes they pick REALLY ugly girls to play gender-bender characters to make it more realistic, and then it just ruins it). The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is the cheesy effects and character moments, but those were expected coming from a Japanese drama/live action. They had LOADS in Hana Kimi and so I wasn’t too surprised when they popped up in Ouran as well. ANYWAYS ONTO THE MQOD!

Day 14: A k-pop song that makes you smile

For this one I picked a song that is actually a bit controversial in terms of the singer, not the song. You guys know that I was/still am a HUGE fan of 2pm. I was never really a Jay Walked though and by the time I really got into the group, Jay left it. He had to stay out of Korean limelight for a while and he really sort of disappeared because he came back to the states and not many people know of him here. But he recently came back full-force into the kpop scene and so his song ‘Ohneulbam 오늘밤’ or Tonight (couldn’t use this exact name because of the Big Bang song) makes me smile not only because it’s a really fun and cute song but also because I think it shows that Jaebum is back and it’s nice to know that he didn’t just disappear forever. But of course like any hottest, this just makes me that much more hopeful for a 2pm, Jaebum (leadja) collaboration. C’mon boys! :)

oh and LOVEEEEEE his tattoo. <3

07.28.11 I’ll be your girl…Bilasa…사랑해.

안녕 제 예쁜얼굴! I’m back again with another post. Before I start today’s MQOD…I wanted to address 3 new song/band obsessions of mine…

1. Miss A’s new album/comeback/thingy….<333. I absolutely love love loveeeee Miss A’s new songs, first I fell in love with “Love Alone” and then I heard “Goodbye Baby” and ended up loving Miss A even more. If you haven’t heard either of those songs yet, PLEASE take a listen.

2. Apink’s “It Girl”, I had heard this song when it first came out but I wasn’t really too into it, but now that I’m listening to it again, I LOVE ITT. They are super adorable and almost remind me of a younger version of Girl’s Day. My favorite member is Naeun, 나은 (is the hangul for that right? ^_^) she’s just absolutely toooo cute and almost reminds me of Minah, maybe its just because i’m horribly biased to both Minah and Naeun teehee.

3. B1A4 (or Bilasa, as Simon from ‘EatYourKimchi’ calls them, because of 1 = il in korean and 4 = sa..teehee clever) is just tooooo cute and they are a really good rookie group, normally I don’t get too into the younger rookie groups, for example I really don’t like teen top (no offense to those who do, its just my opinion) but I love B1A4. My ulimate bias in the group is CNU, who doesn’t have to many fans but he is definitely *drool* worthy. He has a sorta manly, nerdy, exterior and its just sooo hot….hehehe. I loved their song “O.K” when it first came out and now I also love “I Learnt the Bad Things” or whatever that song is called.

Anyways onto the MQOD….

Day 13: A k-pop group you dislike and why

I was extremely hesitant to answer this question at first for the reason that I don’t really want to gain any haters from saying the group that I dislike, but I suppose since I’ve already talked about not liking Teen Top, it doesn’t really matter anymore haha. I don’t like Teen Top for the reason that, their music isn’t really my taste and they don’t have “manly” enough voices for me…that sounds like a strange reason, its just that I look at them as if they were children no matter what they do and they are almost TOO strange….I can’t explain it, they just have never really suited my taste or likes in music. AND…their new teaser image scares me…

Oh and should I start doing posts in Chinese as well? I’m sure I could do it fairly easily…I dunno, I’ll think about it! :)

07.17.11 You’re my Greatest Love, but you keep pullin’ on my Heartstrings.

안녕! I can speak 반말 with you guys, right? So now that I’m finally back I wanted to share with you guys some recent dramas and songs I’ve been obsessed with.

Dramas! So just recently I got into the drama “The Greatest Love”, it’s fairly new but it has also been running for a while now so I’m a bit behind and of course like any other starstruck ‘Boice’ (CN Blue fan, if you didn’t know) I’ve been crazy into watching “Heartstrings”, it’s a super cute drama featuring Jung Yonghwa from CN Blue, ADORABLE Minhyuk from CN Blue, and Park Shin Hye who featured in one of my other favorite dramas “You’re Beautiful”. I actually really like it and if you want to watch either of them, I recommend Dramafever.com which is where I watch all of my dramas. Yonghwa and Shin Hye both recorded personal messages in English specially for Dramafever.com.

Now onto songs that I’ve been horribly obsessed with over the past month. First off is Hyuna’s new hit single “Bubble Pop”. At first I didn’t think I would like it all but I ended up really liking it, I think that the ‘gibberish’ is sorta cute and although loads of people are comparing Hyuna to Hyori, I think Hyuna brings her own style to the song (but I will say when I first watched the M/V I thought Hyuna looked EXACTLY like Hyori, so I can see where people came up with that idea). Another song is 2pm’s “Hands Up” which is once again one of those songs that I thought I would hate because I feel like 2pm isn’t 2pm anymore and Woobaby and Khunnie (and all the other boys) are changing and not for the better…but I ended up really enjoying “Hands Up” despite the similarities it had to “Like a G6″ by Far East Movement. The song is super catchy and it makes me want to put my hands up every time I listen to it. In addition to “Bubble Pop” and “Hands Up”, I’ve also been listening to “One Last Cry” by N-Train, “Fiction” by B2ST, “Please” by Kim Hyun Joong, “Love Alone” by Miss A, “I am the Best” by 2ne1, “Tonight” by Jay Park, and “Lovable” by Kim Jong Kook (such an old song, but Kim Jong Kook is incredibly attractive and the song is just too cute to ignore).

So after that long talk about dramas and music, I’m going to move on to doing the meme of the day! :)

Day 12: The very first k-pop song you ever heard

I’ll be the first one to admit that one of the first kpop songs I ever heard (and actually hooked me into kpop) was Gee by 소녀시대 which is almost a bit sad because I don’t listen to 소녀시대 very much anymore. But take a listen, you might just get hooked like I did (I still remember every single word of it from memory). (^_^)

07.12.11 정말? You know 中文 now?

Hey guys, so it’s been well over a month since I last posted and I actually came to miss it loads. If you were wondering what I was up to…I was actually busy taking Chinese classes and trying to spend time with the people around me! I took Chinese classes everyday for the past 2 weeks and now I can actually say that I am fluent in basic Chinese. I’m taking Chinese 1 in school this fall, but my Chinese teacher told me that I should be allowed to skip it because all that I learned is what is taught in Chinese 1, so I should be able to just pass right through that class yay! I have severely missed Korean though and recently as a result I’ve been blurting out random Korean phrases and now I’m worried that I’m starting to sound like a crazy 아줌마….I’ve just been walking around the house screaming “정말?! 왜 그래요? ” talking to myself…I do believe I’ve lost my mind. But, I figured to come back I’d do another meme question to get it running back up!

Day 11: Your favorite k-pop music video

This one was a bit hard because of course, I’ve seen LOADS of k-pop music videos before…so I had to reach back into the crevices of my mind to think of my favorite one. In the end I actually settled on two music videos…. (I cheated teehee) ^_^

First is….Love Ya by 더블에스오공일 or SS501. They are disbanded now, but I loveeeeee their music video! :) Its really manly and mysterious all at the same time and who doesn’t love bad boys? All the guys look great and I love the dance break in the middle of the mv.

…yes I have a certain bias towards Kim Hyun Joong….WHO DOESN’T?! DON’T JUDGE MEEEEE teehee, O_o

Then I felt obligated to pick a girl group video and so I picked Love Alone by Miss A. This is actually a song in English but I love this song and the music video. It’s actually clips of them performing live for Kim Yuna’s skating finals (I think…correct me if I’m wrong) but it also has a montage of them getting ready and such in between. The girls are absolutely gorgeous in this video (Jia looks fantastic as a blonde…I know she’s had it for a while but, I was never a huge fan of her pink hair…) and the dancing and singing is totally on point. I really like mv’s that have sort of candid montages as parts of them like Davichi’s From Me to You mv. It just makes me feel a little bit closer to the singer as if I’m getting to see a personal insight on to how their lives really are. :)

So hopefully I’m back for good now, and I hope you guys enjoyed this quick post! :)

06.08.11 Come make me feel REAL good?! :)

Listening to Sweet Garden or 甜蜜花園 by Ariel Lin. LOVE THIS SONG. And as you guys already know I absolutely LOVE Ariel Lin, one of my favorite Taiwanese singers EVER. <3

TODAY’S MQTD POST!

Day 10: A k-pop dance you’d like to learn

So this one was a no-brainer for me…Dr. Feel Good by RaNia, and most of you are now probably looking at the computer screen like I must be crazy lah. Right? Yeah well, this dance can totally make even the creepiest people feel TOTALLY sexy and make them look sexy. Like soooooo amazing and hot and sexy, it’s so awesome. They changed their choreo a few times because of the grief they recieved but the original choreo is definitely the sexiest and I’ve seen so many covers of it, but loads of them don’t even give it justice, so instead I leave you with a video of my FAVORITE Korean dance team covering it…

If you haven’t heard of this dance team, you REALLY should be on the internet more hehe. I’ve been following them ever since they “debuted” (even though they technically aren’t famous, but you get what I mean), so without talking any more, here’s my FAVORITE dance team, Black Queen performing a cover of my FAVORITE dance Dr. Feel Good by RaNia. :)

SO HOT LAH?!
